Happy New Year/Decade! We are so glad you are here. For our first post in 2020, we wanted to focus on the kdrama that is taking over the world: Crash Landing on You. Son Ye Jin plays Yoon Se Ri, a South Korean business woman who accidentally landed in North Korea while paragliding. While Se Ri is plotting with XX on different ways to get back home, she also has to settle in with her new society. We are loving Se Ri’s optimistic personality and how she adapted to the North Korean fashion trends. Here are our favorite North Korean fashion tips (we never thought those words would go together) from Se Ri:
1. Cute neck scarves make any outfit stand out! They are a fun way to add a personal touch in a country where conformity is enforced. We really like these floral neck scarfs paired with winter sweaters; almost like a hint of the coming spring. You can buy similar neck scarfs here and here.
2. Pink knit sweaters make winter days tolerable. We love these and these sweaters. Also, we love the scrunchie and sweater pairing look. Very VSCO, very NK.
